Easter

This was Bailey's first Easter! She looked so cute in her Easter dress. At church they had an Easter egg hunt for the babies in the nursery! It was really cute seeing all the babies in the nursery "hunting" the eggs. :) Bailey was able to reach out and grab one! She is getting so big! We had a great Easter celebrating what our Lord did for us. Thank you Jesus for saving us!

This is one of the bows Bailey got in her Easter basket from Oma.

Shelley (Brock's mom) loves taking pictures. I love that she loves taking pictures because that means I don't have to! lol

Her favorite person to take pictures of is Miss Bailey Kenz. (of course) :)

Here are a few recent photo shoots... (Brock and I made it in a few) ;)

1 Month

Bailey turned 1 month on January 9! Oh how the time has gone by so fast! Bailey is our little angel! Brock and I have enjoyed being parents so far and already think that she is the cutest little girl in the whole world! Sorry but it is true. She is so much fun! All of the Grandpas, Grandmas, Aunties, and Uncles are smitten! This little girl is loved very much! :) We are so very blessed!

Grandma Shelley (Oma) loves taking pictures of Miss Bailey and does a really good job in my opinion! She took these beautiful pictures of Bailey.

Happy Birthday to Rachael!

Happy Birthday to the greatest friend ever!! That would be Rachael LeAnn Tuter Werner. I have known Rachael for about 14 years now. Crazy I know! I can still remember the first time she said hi to me, it was on a Wednesday night and it happened to be my birthday. Ever since then we have been great friends.
We have been through many times together, whether it be good or bad. She has always been there for me no matter what and has always been an encouragement to me. Today has been a special day, not only Rachael but for me as well. Ever since the time we met till the day she got married we have spent this day together making memories that I will have for the rest of my life. Our tradition was that I would go to her house the night before her birthday and we would rent movies from Slick Flick and it would end up that I would be watching the movie and Rachael would be asleep by the first 10 minutes of the movie. Hehe. She wasn’t a late night person. Then we would sleep in a little and get up to the smell of Mrs. Tuter’s cinnamon rolls. They were very yummy! After we ate and opened some gifts we went down to the creek to explore or work on our tree house (which we spent three years working on and only got a few steps done and then decided to move on and do something else). I don’t think we will ever get to old to go down to the creek. For dinner that night we always had Rachael’s favorite meal, Stoffers Lasagna, Green Beans, Caesar Salad, French Bread.

Something else that I love about Rachael is that she is not afraid to be a dork with me. We both admit that we are dorks but we embrace it! We loved to make Amy (her little sister) be embarrassed to be with us. One thing we did was to see who could burp the loudest and Amy thought that was so gross. I love you Amy! Thanks for being a great sport! :)

Rachael and I would laugh over the silliest things and we could laugh for minutes at a time without taking a breath and then when we would finally take a breath we would start laughing again because we took a breath at the same time. Yeah that’s how it goes with us. I know that Rachael and I will be friends for the rest of our lives no matter where we are in the world. Thank you Rachael for being a great friend.

Happy Birthday and I hope that you will have many, many more. I love you girl!
