My Birthday!

I know that this is kinda late for this but I just downloaded my pictures that I took from my birthday and wanted to share them!

At my job everyone gets a "birthday day" off from work so I took my day off on Friday, February 22. Brock had planned out the whole day for us. That morning we left around 10AM to drive to Tulsa and got there just before noon. He took me to see the Oklahoma Aquarium. It was way cool! I loved it! We got to see alot of fish and I even got to touch a Sting Ray! It was really amazing. We spent about 3hours there and then left to go shopping! I didn't find anything but Brock was able to get a good deal on a suit! Oh and at the shopping center we went to they had a red telephone booth out side one of the stores and so we took some pictures. Then we went back to OKC and ate at Olive Garden. It was really good! I was truly honored! I love you Brock!

I like to sew...

So this morning when I got to work Pam called me into her office. When I got to her office Bev and Tim where there too. Now I'm thinking, what in the world did I do!? But then Pam said that since Tim wasn't going to be here for my wedding they wanted to give me my wedding gift. Pam pulled from behind her desk two big boxes... I opened the first one and it was a sewing machine! I have been telling Brock that I wanted one for awhile now. I asked them how they knew that is what I have been wanting, and Bev said that I told one time. I don't really remember it but I was glad I did! Now I can make my bridesmaids sashes for their dresses! Thanks Pam, Bev, and Tim!!!

Busy, busy, busy!

It’s crazy how fast the wedding is coming! I’m getting really excited! The last week of February Brock and I picked out our flowers. We are going to have bright colored gerber daisies. I think it is going to turn out really nice! Yesterday we went for our cake and food appointment. That was a lot of fun! There is going to be plenty of food let me just tell you! Next week we are meeting with our photographer! Things are really starting to come together! Thanks to Brock’s grandma things are really easy! She is doing a wonderful job and we both appreciate her very much!

We had our Wednesday high school small group last night. I always enjoy getting to spend time with them. They have really opened up to Brock and I since we’ve been there. That is a real encouragement to me! I believe this is where the Lord wants us to be right now and I am seeing His hand in it!

I love the verse that is in Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you, ‘declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” I believe that to be true with all my heart!

Hey everyone! Lauren got me started on this blog stuff so we'll see what happens with it! Thanks Lauren!

Well I guess I will try and keep you all posted on how life is with Brock and me. As a lot of you all know Brock Taylor Greenhill asked me to marry him on October 1st, 2007. I of course said YES! And we set the date for May 30th, 2008. It is coming sooner than I know! Wedding plans are coming along great! Brock's grandparents own a wedding chapel and are helping out so much! I am very grateful for their generosity!

I have a flower appointment today to pick out my flowers. I am very excited about that! I'm thinking daisies... So we shall see! I will let you know what we decide.
